Created in the 1800's by Nathaniel Currier, In this painting we can see the battle of Cerro Gordo through someone's eyes. Although it seems that the painter didn't have an ideal side, we can see the Mexican Army in green fighting with the American Army in blue. Each side holding their own flag to represent their state/countries.
A poster created by a volunteer from the American Army returning from the war. In this poster the volunteer is making the Mexican Army sound very treacherous and also making people think that the Mexican also made others suffer. The poster also talked about honoring those who died in the American Army but made resentful comments towards the Mexican.
